| Release Date for Book 4, The Mirrors of Methalis, Set
As most fans of the series probably already know after reading "Book Three of The Snowtear Wars, The Hollows of Candlewick", the fourth book, "The Mirrors of Methalis", will be released in December, 2008. Scot says this was the hardest book to edit to date, because it needed to be honed more than the others, to make the writing nice and tight. "You have to keep trying to top yourself, otherwise, you'll never improve. Every write should always continue to refine his or her skills, no matter how long he or she has been in the business. I was fortunate to be able to work with a top notch editor on this fourth volume, Victory Crane, whom I give a lot of credit to for the way the book came out. I believe she has helped me make this latest installment the best in the series yet. The fans have a lot to look forward to." Scot has started writing the fifth and final book in the series, but doesn't expect it to be done until sometime in 2008. "I'm about a third of the way through it. There's still a lot of work to do before it's completed. The ending, I believe, will be as exciting as everyone is hoping for. I need to take my time with it, however, to ensure it achieves that goal. The wait will be well worth it." |
